“Shanyou 63",the Veriety With the Largest Cultivated Area in China Ⅲ.the Photosynthetic Characteristics and Solar Energy Utilization Efficiency

Abstract:
The cultivated ar ea of“Shany ou63"has been kept the first in China since 1986.The average cultivated area one year is 4.67 million hectare,about 22%of the area of indica zone in China and particularly 27.1% in 1990.The cult ivated area of shanyou 63 also reached 4.47 million hectare in 1996,nearly 4-5 t imes that o f the seco ndar y one fo r the past 11 years.It is cultivated all over the indica cultiv ated zone from 17°36′N to 37°49′N and fr om 100°36′E to 121°56′E.It has been cultivated 52.67 millio n hectare and increased by about 58.5 billion kg grain from the year 1986 to 1996.A ccor ding to the national regional yield trial,it incr eased 1.1t grain perhectare com-paring with CK.General grain yield was 7.5t to 9tper hectare and the highest was 13.9tper hectare.T his paperint roduces the photo synthetic charac teristics of Shany ou 63:low light compen- satio n point,hig h lig ht sat ur ation point and high net photo synthesis efficiency of flag leaf.This re- search also indicates that the photo synthetic character istics and the group solar energy unitilization efficiency of Shanyou 63 are different in different cultivated seaso ns,differ ent soil types and fer- tiliser levels and differ ent plant density.In order to bring its photosynthetic potentiality into full play and to achieve high yield,suitable so wing and plant ing season,cultiv ated density and fertilizer application level should be studied in the different zones.

The paper deelt with the character,procedure,cultural condition and breeding efficiency of rice anther culture on the basis of the several year s'practice.Rice anther culture breeding is the development of mordern breeding,w hich inherits the experience of corss breeding and mutation breeding,adopts the new achievem ents of biological science,such as cyto biology,embrylogy and genetics etc.It is a high speed and efficiency method of rice breeding,can contr ol hybrid sper ating and resolve the problems of cross breeding.

The two rowed barley(zhepi 1)plants were treated with 0.04%co lchicine solution at the vigorio ustillering stage,then a new type of tetr aploid barley was obtained in M1 generation,as well as a lot of diploid plants with early-maturing,largeear and high culmcharacter.A new variety named Minyou 3 was selected form these variant plants,then apprised and extended to production.

Abstract:
Mint ang 70-611 came from F1 of CP49 50×F 134 a nd passed thr ough a“five seedling nursery”system to be selected and bred by Institute of Sugarcane,Fujian Academy of Agricultural Sciences in 1970.and has become amain cultiv ar as the third generation after F134 at Fujian and Yunnan provinces.It has accumutively distributed in 0.41 million hectar es area with 700 million yuan economic and social benefit Recently,its rato oning ability degener ate and sugar content descend at latemilling stage.So we induced Mintang 70-611 to bloom in a Zhangzhou city,and disposed 3 hybridized combinations:M int ang 70-611×Erianthus arundinaceum Retz(or Saccharum spontaneum L.),Mintang 70-611×Sugarcane distant F1 and Mintang 70-611×cultivars(or midmaterials).From the mentioned F1,Some good mid materials have been selected. So Mintang 70-611 is being improved and abreeding route of“gener ation progress”is brought about.
Studies on Classification and Antiserotypes of Monoclonal Antibodies Against Pseudomonas Solanacearum

Abstract:
Mouse marrow cell was hy bridized by immunized BA LB/C mouse spleen cell of pseudo monas solanacearum.Four hybridoma cell lines PSB24,PSB28,PSB46 and P SB56 ag ainst pseudo monas so lanacearum were established.The chromosomce numbers of the hybrido macell lines ranged from 98 to 104.The ELISA titers of the culture supenatants and the ascitic fluid were 102-103 and 105-106 respect ively.These McAbsbelonged to Ig G1 and IgMindividually.Each of these four McAbs was reacted individually with 157 pseudo monas solanacearum from different areas by ELISA.The results showed that four antigen deter minants and seven mono antisero types (McAbⅠ-Ⅶ)were distinguished from these strains.A mong them,the first type(Ⅰ)and the thir done(Ⅲ)is do minant types and large amount,distributed widely,but the seventh type(Ⅶ) was an undo minant one and small amount,distrbuted narrowly in Fujian province.
Study on the Mosaic Disease of Cruciferous Vegetable in Fuzhou

Abstract:
The mosaic disease of cruciferous vegetable was very widespread in Fuzhou city.Among the vegetables,Brassica sp.and B.chinensis were most attacked by the disease with 10%~30% incidence.The next,Raphanus sativas and B.juncea were frequently attacked with 5% ~20% incidence.In the recent years,the disease also occured in the plantation of B.oleracea var.botrytis and B.oleracea var.cap itate.The causal agents of cruciferous vegetable mosaic disease were three groups of viruses,they were TMV,CMV and TuM V.The identification researchon the strains of TuMV and CMV w as reported in this article.
Study on Attenuated live Vaccine of Muscovy Duckling Parvovirusis

Abstract:
An attenuated vaccine strain(MPV-P1) of Muscovy duckling parvovirus(MPV)was obtained from putian strain of MPV by biotechnolog y.The MPV-P1 was non pathogenicity to one-day old muscovy ducks.Its immuno genicity and genetic stability were excellent.The vacine was prepared in MDEF cells with MPV-P1 strain.The third day after vaccination,part of the muscovy ducks appeared against MPV antibody,all of them appeared to MPV antibody within 7 days.The peak titer of the antibody reached on 21-30 days after vacination.The period of effective immunization was more than 190 day s.The pro tectiv e r ate w as 100%w hen challeng ed w ith MPV on 7 days after vaccination.When the muscovy ducks had LPAI titers of 1.0(Log 2)or more,almost all of them were protected.To compare both vaccination,the results indicated that intr amuscular injection is more effective than nasal drop.W hen the frozen dry vaccine was stored at 22℃for 6 months,at 4-8℃for 12 months and at 20℃fo r 12 months r espectiv ely,its im- mune activity was noremar kable change.The results of the field trial of 180 millio ns of muscovy ducks(one-day-old)vaccinated in Fujian,Guang dong,Guangxi,Zhejiang and other provinces showed that noside effects or clinical singns occured.These results above revealed that this vaccine had good safety and efficacy.

Genetic analysis showed that mature period of fruit and resistance to leaf spot in loquat belonged to genetics of quantitative character s.Early maturing of character genetic had clearg enetic dominance to late maturing.Resistance to leaf spot showed at endency to mat ernal inheritance.In this paper,the suggestions of selecting parent materials in mature period and resistance to leaf spot breeding in loquat were also made.
Studies on Population Structure of High Yield in Vegetable Soybean

Abstract:
Yield,plant characters and population growth of vegetable soybean variety“292”under different plant densities and plants perhole were analy zed and the indexes of the population structure of high yielding vegetable soybean were summa rized.The results showed that the density of 232.5~240.0 thousand plants perhm 2 and 1~2 plants perhole planting were suitable.High peak value of LAI was about 3.8,and appeared in pod setting stage.The weight of dry matter per plant in fresh pod picking stage reached 27 g,which occured in the pods over 42 percentage. The results were tested and verified in the field pro duction.

Studies on the Change of Root Morphology of Rice Inoculated With Rhizobium

Abstract:
Different geno type of rice varieties(Oryza sativa)have been studied on rice rhizo biainter actio ns ino culated with Rhizo bium str ains resulting in the change of root morphology.Microsco pic analysis showed that root hair deformation and curling of rice seedlings star ted from inoculation after 7 days.Most of root hair scurling were about 90皌o 180?,a few root hairs for med 180? to 360癱urling,shorter and thicker lateral root no dular structures for med from inoculation after 35 to 45 days.The frequency of the nodular structure for mation was closely related to the conbination of rice varieties and Rhizo hium strains.
Study on the ways to Increase Recovery Rate in Amino Acid Analysis of Feedstuff

Abstract:
How to increase the reco very rate of amino acids in feedstuff analy sis was discussed in this paper.The exper imental results showed that,the values of sulfur amino acids(cystine and methio nine)were incr eased by oxidizing samples before hydrolysis.The recovery rate reached 91.3%and 91.7%,respectively.However,this procedure caused loss of tyrosine and other amino acids.After purifying halogen and discontinue oxidation,the above shortcomings were over came. So a high recovery rate,simple and reliable technicue procedure of pretreatment in feedstuff amino acid analysis was developed.
