The sink structure character of super high-yielding ratooning rice

Abstract:
The sink structure characters of different yield potential of ratooning rice were investigated.The results indicated that the relationship between spikelet number per panicle and yield was the most closely in the first season,and the contribution to yield was the highest.In the ratooning season,the relationship between panicle number and yield was the most closely, and the contribution was the highest.Super high-yielding ratooning rice had larger sink.Not only in the first season but also ratooning season,the sink volume made greater contribution to yield than seed setting, as well as the contribution of total spikelets number per m2 to yield was higher than that of grain weight.The contribution of spikelet number per panicle to total spikelet number per m2 was higner than panicle number per area in the first season, and the ratooning season was contrary.It is necessary to foster larger panicle to enlarge sink volume for obtaining higher yield in the first season, as well as to foster much panicle number in the ratooning season.

Abstract:
Fudou 234 is a new spring soybean variety bred from the crossing between Pudou 8008 and Huang-shadou.The variety possessed the characters of high protein content, high and stable yield, extensive adaptability.The relation of seed yield with different agrenomic practices (density, N, K) for Fudou 234 were studied by using the quadratic universal rotation combination design.The results showed that the optimal measures to get the yield more than 2250 kg·hm-2 were as follow: the amount of urea applied was 77.25-93.30 kg·hm-2, potassium chloride was 108.15-129.45 kg·hm-2, the plant density was 283500-325500 plants·hm-2 in red-yellow upland soil.
A preliminary report on biological characters of Procontarinia robusta in mango

Abstract:
Procontarinia robusta is a newly recorded pest which attacks foliage of ornamental mango in Xiamen, Fu-jan Province.It has annually four generations.Females lay eggs on ventral side of leaves and larvae hatch after 3-5 days.Larvae emerging from the ventral surface of leaf, feed on leaves and form large amount of galls.It overwinters in the forms of larval and pupal within galls.
Analysis of citrus Huanglongbing pathogens from different places by PCR-SSCP assay

Abstract:
A polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and single-strain conformation polymorphism (SSCP) assay were applied to rapidly analyze the molecular variability in the citrus Huanglongbing pathogens (Candidatus Liberobacter asiaticus) collected from citrus orchards of different places.The result showed that there was no differences among the pathogens in PCR-SSCP by using Primer 1 and Primer 2.

Abstract:
The functional response between N.okazakii and L.sativae in small cages could be described as Holling I.However, when different density of leafminer existed in the large cage.the parasite gave a random response to the density of the leafminer,and the mortality of the leafminer was not aggregated in high density leave.There was an interference among parasites.

Abstract:
Spodoptera exigua is an important pest of vegetables.It occurs 6 generations a year in south of Zhejiang Province.They occur from the last ten days of April, and seriously damage the various vegetables during May to December, with the peak period from July to September.Spodoptera exigua can overwinter in the form of pupa within green house.Development duration of Spodoptera exigua is shortened with the increase of temperature within the range from 22.3℃to 27.9℃at natural condition.

Abstract:
The purified psudorabies virus strain FA (PRV-FA) was inoculated to Balb/c mice.Eleven monoclonal hybridoma cell lines which were able to stably excrete monoclonal antibodies against PRV were produced by means of hybridoma technique and indirect ELISA detection.The results of immunologic characteristics identification revealed that 6 hybridoma cell lines only reacted with PRV strain FA and didn’t react with PRV-FB, PRV-gE-and PRV-Bartha.And all these monoclonal antibodies didn’t react with HCV, SI, PRRSV and PPV.
Purification and preliminary structure analysis of serum immunoglobulin in channel catfish (Ictalurus punctatus)

Abstract:
Serum immunoglobulin (Ig) from channel catfish (Ictalurus punctatus) immunized with Aeromonas so-bria was purified with ammonium sulfate precipitation followed by column chromatography.The results showed that serum Ig was mainly precipitated at 35%-55% ammonium sulfate saturation.Further purification by Sepharose-4B gel filtration and DEAE-52 anion exchange chromatography showed that the Ig from both of the columns all presented in the first protein peak.SDS-PAGE demonstrated that serum Ig was more pure after each step of purification.Structure analysis of the catfish serum Ig was performed by Western blot under denatured and reduced, denatured but non-reduced, non-denatured and non-reduced conditions using monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies as probes.The results showed that the molecular weight of the heavy chain was 72 kD, and the three distinct light chains were 21 kD, 23.5 kD, 26 kD respectively.The results suggested the heterogeneity were presented in channel catfish light chains.The serum Ig only had a molecular weight about 870 kD under non-reduced and non-denatured conditions.

Abstract:
In a 60 d trail, the daily weight gain per fish in the group which were fed compound feed supplementing Pennisetum americanum?P.purpureum was 15.61?0.14 g, that in the group supplementing Vigna stnensis sari Var was 15.03?0.34 g,both of them were higher than that of CK (fed compound feed only, 9.66?0.26 g).Variance analysis showed there were significant differences (P0.01)between treatments and CK.It demonstrated that feeding Pennisetum americanum?P.purpureum and Vigna sinensis sari Var significantly improved the weight gain of grass carp.In addition, feeding forages increased the aminoacid level of back muscle of grass carp, enhanced the contents of human requisite aminoacids and taste aminoacids in the fish body.

Abstract:
The study indicated that temperature inversion on fine day was evident, it became more complex owing to temperature regulation of ocean at the same time.Because of temperature inversion on fine day in brae and temperature increasing by water body, the zone was 1℃ higher than extreme-low temperature in local area, so it suited or hypo-suited for planting litchi and longan.The orchard should be selected in south, above middle part of hill, and 0.3-1.0 kilometre far from coastline, and some effective measures should be used to avoid the freeze injury in planting south subtropical fruit trees.

Abstract:
Constructing pcDNA3.1-CpTI and then immunizing the Balb/c mice by the method of intramuscular injection, the special antibody was obtained.Its titer was more than 1: 800 and the correlation coefficient was 0.9961.And the result of assaying the modified CpTI transgenic rice approved that the antibody cold be used in the qualitative determination of expression by cpti transgenic rice.
Effect of cold hardening on membrane lipid peroxidation and activities of cell defense enzyme in leaves of Anthunium andraenum Lind under low temperature stress

Abstract:
The membrane lipid peroxidation of Anthunium andraenum Lind under the low temperature and the effect of cold hardening were studied.The results indicated that cold hardening could lessen the increase of membrane lipid peroxidation, electrolyte leakage rate in leaves, and the decrease of moisture content, chlorophyll content and photosynthetic rate in leaves, at the same time, promoted SOD and CAT activity, and increased the stabilization of POD activity under low temperature stress, so enhanced cold resistance of Anthunium andraenum and prolong the critical time of the plant death under low temperature for about 2.5 days.

Abstract:
The regeneration plants were acquired by culturing in vitro the growing points (in 0.2-0.5 mm length) of Pseudostellaria heterophylla.The orthogonal experiments and single factor experiments showed that the optimum medium for calli induction and shoot buds from calli was MS+6-BA 2 mg·L-1+NAA 0.2 mg·L-1 + GA30.1-0.2 mg·L-1+sugar 30 g·L-1.The medium suitable for calli subculture was MS+6-BA 1.5 mg·L-1 + NAA 0.01 mg·L-1+sugar 30 g·L-1.The plantlets’propagation had been done by 2 ways i.e.continuous calli differentiation and plantlets cuttage propagation.Basic MS medium was suitable for plantlets cuttage propagation.Medium MS (pH 6.0) containing 60 g·L-1 sugar was suitable to induce micro-root tuber, under the condition of 20℃ and 16 hours of light everyday.Medium MS containing 30 g·L-1 sugar was suitable for roots differentiation.The survival rate of the tissue culture plantlets exposed to air for 10-15 days reached 98.6% in the sandy soil under the condition of 15-20℃ and the relative moisture more than 90%.The mosaic disease rate of virus-free roots was 94.75 % lower than that of conventional culture system in the field.

Abstract:
The effects of color fixatives,drying temperature and packing methods on quality of bamboo shoots were studied.The results showed that after the bamboo shoots had been blanched in boiling water for 7 min,soaked in 0.15% citric acid and 0.02% EDTA solution for 3 min,dried at 85-90℃ for 3 hr and then 60-65℃ for 4 hr,the color changing of product could be restrained.Vacuum package could effectively prevent from changing color.

Abstract:
The heat pump system has been combined with CHTY-1 O2 control device to form air-control drying e-quipment which could function heating,cooling and ajust air ingredient.Tranditional dried duck processing technology was simulated and productivity was raised by means of ajusting parameter such as temperature, humidity and air velocity.The quality of dried duck was increased by means of readucing O2 content in the drying procedure.

Abstract:
Five kinds of vegetables from market were used as test materials.Borax and boiling water were adopted to make extract.After filtration by active carbon, the nitrate content in the fluid was directly determined by dual-wavelength UV-spectrophotometric method.The recovery was 102%-105% with RSD of 0.46%-0.97%.There was no significant difference compared with the GB method.The method has been applied to the rapid determination of nitrate content in large batch of vegetables.
Study on characteristic indexes of fatty acids in fish oil for feeds

Abstract:
The characteristic indexes for constituents of thirty-four fatty acids in fifty-five kinds of fish oil were analyzed by gas chromatography.The results comparing the constituents of other animal oil and plant oil showed that fish oil had highy contents of unsaturated fatty acids,among which the amounts of essential fatty acids such as EPA and DHA were relatively higher, the characteristic indexes were 5.2%-20.0% and 5.7%-25.9% respectively.They were the most important fatty acids constituents in fish oil and were the index to evaluate the quality of fish oil.The amounts of C18:2n6 and C18:3n3 were lower (0.6%-2.7% and 0.2%-2.5%,respectively).The balance of essential fatty acids in feedstuff was important.Different kinds of fish oils had different characteristic indexes of fatty acids, the indexes were distinctly different from other animals and plants oil, it was the basis to distinguish the kinds of fish oil, to discern the false fish oil from the genuine.
