Control and Prevention Masures for the Main Diseases of Meat Ducks in Southern China

  • In this paper, we investigated the major meat duck species and their distribution among 10provinces (cities, districts) in southern China, and cleard the pathogen etiology and the clinical epidemiology of diseases in these meat ducks, then pointed out the problems in meat ducks production in southern China.Based on the results of investigation such as the detection of serum antibodies and their levels, we summed up the prevention and control measures could effectively reduce major diseases hazards of meat ducks in southern China.This proposal contained a whole immune program which targeted to the main diseases in meat ducks, and could provide technical support for the sustainable and healthy development of meat duck industry in China.
