Abstract
A systematic investigation on the composition and structure of the arthropod communities in the Lotononis bainesii canopies in 2009 collected 1 093 individual insects.Among them,46.92% were pests,20.21% neutala insects, and 32.87% natural enemies. The Shannon-Wiener index of the community significantly and positively correlated to their species richness in the order of∶ arthropod community﹥natural enemy subcommunity﹥neutala insect subcommunity﹥pest subcommunity. The species abundance of the natural enemies subcommunities significantly and positively correlated to the pest subcommunities(P<0.05).
