Abstract
The volatile compounds produced strains of Bacillus spp.were antagonistic to the loquat anthracnose pathogen (Colletotrichum acutatum) in two-compartment plastic plates. The results showed that the inhibition rates of FJAT-4748 and FJAT-10011 were 90.06%and 54.99%, which were better than the other tested strains.Colony morphology and 16 SrDNA sequence assays showed that the tested eight bacterial strains of Bacillus spp.were Lysinibacillus xylanilyticus、Brevibacillus borstelensis, Brevibacillus brevis, Brevibacillus agri, Bacillus aryabhattai, Brevibacillus formosus and Bacillus simplex, respectively. Our results suggested that these volatile compounds produced Bacillus strains could be promising biocontrol strains for anthracnose in harvested loquat fruit.
