Preparation of Serum-free Medium by MA12 Bacterial Synergist and its Application I.Effect of MA12 Bacterial Synergist on Increasing the Amount of Pasteurella multacida of Fowl Cholera in Sorum-free Medium

Abstract:
One kind of growth-stimulating factor, 12 which has an obvious bacterium-increasing effect had been prepared.Adding 0.05-0.15% MA12 to the culture growing Pasteurella multacida of Fowl Cholera has similar effect on increasing bacterial amount to compare with adding 3-5% animal serum in the culture.The cell capsule antigen prepared with serum-free culture has good immunity for poultry.MA12 is mainly consisted of plant growth-regulating substrate and microelements.It is easy to be gathered with low cost and convinient use,also can be sterilized by autoclave.This is the first report on using scrum-free medium to produce capsule subunit vaccine in China.
Genetic Analysis on External Grain Quality in Rice

Abstract:
Genetic analysis of four crosses in indica rice were carried out for their external grain quality.The results showed that grain lenth,width and lenth/width belong to quantitative inheritance,the segregation of F2 generation showed a continuous variation with one-peak curve which located between the two parents.The additive gene effects contributed main function to above traits and dominant gene also played an important role.The chalkiness character in F2 showed a continuous variation,quantitative inheritance and non-normal distribution.Dominant gene effect on above characters was also obvious.The broad-sense heritabilities of these four traits are higher,thus the selections should be practiced in the earlier generations.The analysis data showed that the positive correlation was found between chalkiness and width characters,but negative between chalkiness and lenth/width value.It is easy to obtain chalkiness-free or little-chalkiness appearances by selecting single plant with small-width and narrow-long grain types in rice breeding.
Observation on 259 Cases of Analgesia Operation for Cattle by An Electric Acupuncture in Zhenhuan Anshen Point Combination

Abstract:
An electric acupuncture analgesia of Zhenhuan-Anshen point combination was first used to the operation of rumen,abomasum,intestine,thoracic cavity,windpipe,esophagus,urethra,horn,eye,muzzhe of cattle and buffalo,and received a satisfied result.This analgesia technique can make the cattle lie down slowly during the electric acupuncture,and realize the effect of analgesia and calmness.The animal can be operated calmly without any auxiliary medicine,and has less drawing reaction of the internal organs,no muscular tension was observed.The operation not only exists little interference of physiologic function but also can redress the disorder caused by the operation.The animals are clearheaded during the operation.Their motive functions keep normal,can eat grass,walk soon after the operation,etc.The post-operative functions were recovered quickly and need no special tendance.259 cases of analgesia operation with the opint combination have been carried out for 13 years,245 cases are excellent (93.8%) ,14 cases are good (5.4%) ,only 2 cases failed (0.8%).
The Breeding of A New Chinese Milk Vetch (Astragalus sinicus) Cuitivar Mingzi No.1 and Its Cultivation Technique for High Yield

Abstract:
A new Chinese milk vetch (Astragalus sinicus) cultivar Mingzi No.1 ,which was bred by using systematic selection,has fast-growing,early blooming and late maturing characteristics.In comparison with the check plant,its fresh straw weight and seed yield increased 20% and about 30% respectively.Also Mingzi No.1 gave better seed quality.The new cultivar suits to double crop system of rice.The high-yielding practices involve the suitable sowing period,density and early application of P,K fertilizer,well-arranged draining and irrigating ditches,the control of pests and diseases.In the fields for harvesting seeds,increasing B and Mo fertilizers and spraying palcobutrazol (MET) as well as suitable harvesting time are suggested.
Studies on the Bag Cultivation of shiitake (Lentinus edodes) with Bagasse Substratum Sterilized by Germicide

Abstract:
The bag cultivation of shiitake with bagasse substratum sterilized by germicide was investigated.The result showed that,using MD908 germicide in the bagasse substratum to substitute the procedure of autoclav-ing,the shiitake strains L11 and L12 which were selected from 12 shiitake strains grew and developed well.The suitable hyphal age is around 40 days.The bagasse substratum preperation,inoculation and incubation were undertaken under indoor condition at 25-28℃.The contaminated rates of Lll and L12 were 2.45% and 2.40%,the bio-efficiencies of L11 and L12 were 78.97% and 69.15% respectively.Only 0.0015% of benzoic acid was found in dry mushroom in the treatment using MD908 germicide to substitute the auto-claving,which is quite lower than the residual limitation in food products.
SINIWR-1 Epidemic Simulation Model of White Rust in Dwamp Morningglogy

Abstract:
A model related to 8 climatic factors for forecasting white rust disease in Dwamp Morningghgy (DM) was proposed.The determinants are pathogen amount,rainfall,night temperature and effectively accumulative temperature.The model is able to forecast the exponent of lesion will occur in seven days.If there are no rains,the lesion exponent is zero.When the night temperature is less than 23℃ after typhoon,the lesion exponent ascends.While in the season of plum rain and fungi amount is higher than 0.1 stack/plant,the lesion exponent sharply rises.It can also forecast the production of Peranospora and Phytophthora in vegetables with the model and provide reliable and high-sensitive data.

Abstract:
Xanthomonas Campestris Pv. Oryzicola took place occasionally in the coastal plain areas of Fujian province in 1960s,then gradually decreased and almost completly stopped in 1970s.However,the disease widespreaded from southeast coastal areas to northwest mountainous areas in 1980s and the main epidemic season is late rice.The major factors of the prevalence were bacteria-earring seeds,disease-susceptible varieties and affection of typhoon and rainstorm.The diseased areas were divided into the frequently diseased area in the coastal plain,the newly diseased area in the northwest mountains and undiseased area.
Trial on Effect of Multifunctional Promoting Agent on Eel

Abstract:
Based on eel’s biological character and principle of protein and fatty metabolism,two kinds of eel additives named Multifunctional Promoting Agent(MPA) "9101" and "9103" have been synthetized,and tested for three times in an eel fishery.The results showed that these two kinds of MPA could raise the growth rate to 26.81% and 25.96%,feed efficiency to 18.66% and 19.60% respectively to compare with the control groups.Each ton feed which containing 10 ppm concentration of MPA could increase net income above 6000 yuan.The trials in eleven eel fisheries also showed coincident results with the small-scale experiment,the efficiency was stable and reliable.It also has a significant recovering effect on runt eels.The products need only small dose with low cost,high profits and merit further popularization.

Abstract:
Three improved measures,i.e.increase of sampling amount,adjustment of extractive order for removing the interferential substrances and treating temperature were employed in this study based on classic extractive method.Thus a new pretreatment method for determining free aminoacids in tea-improved extractive method has been developed.The experimental results showed that,this method has high gathering rate and repeatability,less interfernce and is suitable for type 835-50 Auto-aminoacid Analyser.
